Bio
Becky is originally from Evansville, IN. She moved to Bloomington to attend Indiana University in 2007 and received her Bachelor of Music degree in 2011. Becky is a lifelong follower of Jesus and has always been involved in the local church, serving primarily in children's and worship ministry teams.
In 2015 Becky stepped into vocational ministry, combining her passion for Jesus and experience as an early childhood educator, Sunday School teacher, and camp counselor. She served as Campus Children's Coordinator at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church from 2015–2021. In 2021 she completed her Family Ministry Certification from Bethel Seminary and the International Network of Children’s Ministry.
Becky is thrilled to serve as Children's Minister at ECC. She and her husband, Jason, and their two young sons, Jackson and Joey, moved to Ellettsville in 2017 and are excited for this opportunity to serve their community and connect with their neighbors. Becky believes strongly that children are innately wired to connect with their Creator and that investing in the discipleship of kids and families is of utmost importance.
