Tim and Flávia attended the same high school in Brazil and were married at Beck Chapel on the IU campus in 1989. They moved to Indianapolis, then Grand Rapids, MI before returning permanently to Bloomington in 1994 after Tim finished his emergency medicine residency. They started their family the following year and their children are Camilla, Amanda and Victor.

Tim practiced full-time emergency medicine in Bloomington for over a dozen years and now has full-time administrative responsibilities.
Tim first attended Ellettsville Christian Church in 1985. He and Flávia have been members since returning to Bloomington. Tim has served as a small group leader and coach, deacon, search committee member, short-term mission member and greeter. Tim and Flávia feel called to serve at Ellettsville Christian Church and are committed to saving the lost and growing the saved in our community through small groups.
